Mark Dalton CFA

Managing Director

Founded ConvEx in 2012
Former Head of Structured Equity Capital Markets at UBS Investment Bank
Significant transaction experience in Europe, Middle East, Africa, USA and Canada
Before setting up ConvEx, Mark had over 15 years of investment banking and advisory experience, primarily focused on equity capital markets, equity-linked, corporate derivatives and strategic equity solutions
Mark sits on the board of the Masters in Finance programme at London Business School, where he earned his Masters in Finance, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Francois Cormier

Executive Director

Joined ConvEx in 2013
Former Executive Director in the Equity Capital Markets team at UBS Investment Bank
10 years of capital markets experience in Europe across the capital structure – including equity, equity derivatives and structured transactions, convertible bonds, acquisition finance and leveraged finance
Significant experience advising corporates and investors on raising capital (IPOs and follow-on offerings) and executing/monetising/hedging investments

Nick Sibbering

Spent 20 years on the UBS convertible bond trading desk in London, with experience in trading, structuring, and pricing convertibles, as well as issuing synthetic and reverse convertibles
Significant experience in convertible risk management, hedging, trading, and IT systems

Justin Veltre

Joined ConvEx in 2020 as part of our move to grow the business in the Americas
Former Team Leader/Credit Analyst for Convertible Bonds at Thomson Reuters (Refinitiv)
Began his career at Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC, working his way from Analyst to Supervisor of the Pricing Group
More than a decade of experience working with investments, with a particular focus on convertibles
Justin has significant experience in convertible bond pricing, corporate actions, index management and risk management

Akbal Hussain

Finance & Operations Manager

Joined ConvEx in 2023
Responsible for the day-to-day business operations of the ConvEx group
Over 20 years experience in accounting and finance, most recently as an external adviser to clients, and previously as an internal accountant
Spent 14 years’ directly in practice dealing with a wide range of financial and accounting needs for a variety of clients
Involved in streamlining processes and testing software solutions
